I still only have spotty internet access, and can't do any quoting, formatting or invisible castle right now.

The multiple tactics check are for team effort - one person leads the task (Peppers), the rest roll against DC 15, and every success gives the leader a +2.

Should we take a peek into the admin building? There shouldn't be anything there, no? I wonder why there are all these car hulks in the parking lot. They can't have been there before the machines took over, and why would the machines place them there?

why wouldnt they be in the parking lot, people are in the nuclear facilities 24/7 and hell if bombs started dropping i dont think i would want to leave a building that if it is still standing is likely to still have power when most of the west coast lost it.

So lets use the cars as cover to get to the admin buildings. form there we have a good view of the compound. We can look for a way through the fence, maybe set up a sniper to take out the t600's. What do you guys think?

While I am also curious about the admin building, do remember that we are on a clock.  We don't know how well the main attack is going, or if any terminators are on their way back.
Personally, I say we cut across the car park, over the hill (knoll, whatever, "I'm a soldier, not a map maker") more or less straight for those buildings to the left of the plant.  From there we should have more cover for making our entrance.  When we get close, we should do a two man team approach, Patches +Laz and Wistar+Pepper, basically having the two eggheads help the two oafs sneak around.

Also, if I need to do some sniping (seriously, who else is going to do it?) I'm going to need a spotter.

I actually meant spilt up when we get to the buildings... but this works, too.   Wink

*looks at foproy's post* Oh, is the armor penalty (and bonuses I'm guessing) removed if we only carry the things?  I mean it makes sense, I just don't remember seeing the rule before.  Then again, it's easy to forget how dang big the rulebook is until you have to look up something specific.   Tongue

why wouldn't it? the penalty represents the constrictive nature of the armor doesn't it?

Good point.

Moving on.

Been looking over the (dang large) book for what rolls we should make, and as far as I can tell, the plan to have the eggheads help the oafs in sneaking isn't really covered by the rules.  Sad
Of course, unless I missed something.  Then again, maybe Glim could give a small bonus (nothing major, just a +1 or 2) in Sneak for a successful Co-op Tactics check?  Or maybe just do a whole team check?  I dunno, I need to sleep on this...

One way is to use the Scientist Proffessor ability to share a Basic Skill feat, however none of Wistars are useful here. Wistar is still re-inventing himself as a machine killer...

Um what's a BDU? Can I wear both of these?

Grey BDU (DR 5/8; DP -3; ACP -2; -5 ft; DC 12; 8 lbs.)
Grey fatigues with modular tactical vest (DR 5/8; DP -3; ACP -2; -5 ft; DC 12; 8 lbs.)

Well, that's the short version.  The long version is that, from what I can tell from the stats, both are just the same armor choice, just different styles.  Basically, the "BDU" is clothing with some armored bits attached, while the Modular vest is the more conventional one.  And if that's the case, and I am fairly sure it is, then no, you can't wear both of them.
