Clarification needed.

Since Alexander spent one standard move action, I would have thought that he would be within striking distance.  However, your note would seem to indicate that he is still a standard move away from them.

Is that correct?

Ah, good point. I forgot that the forest where they are is considered difficult terrain, so they didn't move the full 30 ft. towards you. You're still just outside striking distance (Lauren and the dwarf are within striking distance), but on the upshoot Vandarzryx isn't flanked yet.

Shooting myself in the foot...
Parry is not one per round it's two per combat.
Number of parries per combat equals number of melee combat feats minimum one. =1
Melee combat expert (from fighter) adds one to this =1+1=2.

Right?

Looking it over again, yeah, you probably can do it twice in one round. I'm just mixing tricks and actions since they're both under the same heading.

Edit: Actually Melee Combat Expert is +2 feats, so you can Parry a total of 3 times per combat.

There's about 20 ft. of difficult terrain between you and the closest orc, 30 ft to the ones on the side of the drake

Difficult in the meaning of "would take two actions to get there?"

Yeah, one action would leave you just short of the closest guy, two actions can get you to any one of them.

So, just got around to updating the last post with Vandarzryx's Retribution, as soon as Catodon makes his actions I'll progress the round.

Just wanted to give you all a heads up that my home pc is on the fritz again, most likely a hardware error this time. Dunno how long it'll take me to fix it, but it's reasonable to expect a slower rate of updates from me until I've got it sorted again. I'll try to manage a rate of 2-3 updates a week, but can't promise anything.

Also, ArawnNox hasn't been online in over a month now, so the question is, what do we do with Lauren? I could run her as an in-the-backgroun GMPC, or we could send her back to the village to try and organize some sort of defense.

I'm fine with her going back to the village for now.  But, after the orcs are dealt with.

Will you eventually recruit a replacement?

Ok. In the mean time I'll just have to do all the heavy lifting (not)

Gentlemen, I hope that my departure from GM'ing my previous game did not give you the impression that I would be unable to play.  I am simple unable to GM at this time.  If possible, I would like for this to continue; however, if that is not in the cards, I certainly can respect that decision.
