I need a few models that're a little less conventionally realistic -ie not requiring a tripod and coming in some varying calibers. Weight and Recoil numbers are appreciated, but if the gun would have a 38 Recoil that's not to be considered a reason to nix it's inclusion.
Also requested are ideas for changing magazine fed weapons to belts -feats, accessories, whatever. Anything in-setting simpler then putting a Gadget on everything.
The name of this game is OVERKILL, gentlemen.

From this I take it you are looking for gamable stat lines rather than strict addaptations of real-world weapon systems? In other words something you might find in a first person shooter game (i.e. a hell of a lot of fun to stroll around with an blow away a few folks what need killin' with)?

I'm guessing this is also intended as a Spycraft 2.0 compatable exercise?

I remember there are a couple of rather unconventional variants of Dr. Gatling's cure-all in CP2020, like a "microgun" that fires .22 LR, and a gatling shotgun- I'll see if I can dig out the books.

I'm pretty sure I posted a write up of the GAU-19 in the old New Guns thread.
1300 rounds of .50 BMG a minute.

I wrote it as a vehicle weapon... anyone know what 500 lbs of recoil translates to?

I don't want to stand in front of that, and not even beside the guy who's shooting. What if a clip comes off? Tongue

500 lbs of recoil? A big fat grandma - nah, sumotori actually - leaps ten feet right into your arms. Catch her!   Grin  Seriously, I don't think a human being can cope with so much force.

I'm using them as support weapons for the power armor in my SG-1 game.  Wink

I'm not good with imperial, but I figure it's about 2200 Newtons of force (2224.1N).  Which is like having 250kg dropped on you.  Because you were totally asking a serious question. Wink

OT: I think you could adjust the damage to be more in line with other round calibers and keep the stat line more or less intact and have something pretty workable.  Like change it's damage to 1d4+2 for .22, or 1d6+1 for .32.   Range can stay the same because of same barrel length (hand wavey, but close enough), and if the weight is still high then recoil won't be astronomical (for small calibers) - like 12-14.

Or you could write a quick campaign quality (inspired by Predator):

The Gun Show (-25xp):  Non-Vehicle weapons never require a tripod, and may be fired from the hip.  When using them in this fashion their recoil is increased by 4.  Further, all characters must flex their muscles whenever possible.

Twilight 2000 2nd Ed had stats for the XM214, I'll dig it out later this week and see if I can translate it...

You might also want to take a look at Shooters Guide: Alternate Arms, which has a number of weapons that didn't make it past the prototype stage pre-statted out for you Cool
