Yes, he's done another 'rodent' PC species. What is it with Catodon? Must be fixated or something. Best humour him and give him some feedback, poor thing.

Diabolic Bat
You’re a bat, a small flying insect eating vermin perfectly adapted to the night. Your fur is brown, grey, or black. You have little or no tail and your membranous wings can be dark or pale. Your mean tiny black eyes stare out from a grotesque face frames by oversized fleshy ears. Your habits of sleeping and urinating while upside down coupled with your disgusting dietary habits make you unwelcome among common folk.
Scholars may argue the point but for most people bats are flying mice and therefore rodents. Unlike their larger cousins the flying foxes most bats eat insects. Sometimes a bats gains the spark of true intelligence from eating the insects around a witches hut or alchemists workshop. However it is far more common for wizards or priests to deliberately imbue bats with intelligence to act as spies. Bats are uniquely suited to the dark caverns of the deep earth where they are exposed to the natural arcane energies of found there. There are rumors of whole colonies of intelligent bats hidden in the deepest places of the world. These Cavern Bats are said to have their own culture using arcane lore and the gifts of dark gods to hold their caves against invasion by other denizens of the deep earth.
Common personality traits: sinister, flighty, suspicious, secretive, clannish.
Common physical traits: grey fur, tiny eyes, tiny pointed teeth, oversized ears.
Example Names: Squee!, Little Spy, Servant of the Night Lord, Kee!, Zees!
Splinter Race Feats: Bats serving sorcerers or priests are often touched with Devilish Heritage (diabolical devil bat) or There are colonies in the deep earth of sinister ‘cavern bats’, many with the Abide in Darkness feat. Unless you choose one of these you are a ‘night bat’. Many are plague bearers (see feat in this database).

Winged flight 40 is 2.5 Smiley. It's not linear. Having ANY winged flight opens up a new dimension, literally. having it faster is just icing, compared to that yes/no switch at the front end.

Base speed 10 is only -1.
Light sensitive is only -.5.
Lean season and catfall are only .5 (each)

Looks like my document had a couple of bad entries for flight (fixed now). Winged Flight 50 is 2.5, but I'd still have real serious concerns about letting any flight speed into play for less than that. Maybe, maybe winged flight 20 or 25 for only 2, but I'd still be itchy - its just better than so many other things in that range Smiley.

Corrected a few values and added an option for cheap flight that should split the difference equitably.
