It would almost be criminal to include any show by Sid and Marty Kroft in a TV show standoff. Immediately one of those shows would constitute as: Cheesy and trump any other show. It would be like have a fictional spy contest and not use James Bond.

I completely forgot about the kid falling into the giant hat.

I also noticed that for "Land of the Lost" the show used bluegrass music for the intro.

It made me remember another show that came on before or after "Land of the Lost" that was a science fiction show. The only thing I could recall is that the doors opened when you place your hand over a black panel and a red diamond would light up.

A show I had recently discovered from Gerry Anderson: UFO

One of the best comedies ever made (IMO): Bosom Buddies with one Billy Joel's best songs too.

I couldn't find an intro, but another victim to why vampire shows fail to live past one season (pun intended).

That show was banned in my house, along with "Three's Company". So, I snuck a peak at every episode I could.

Now, I really don't ban that many shows from my kids, aside from the ones that use a lot of language.

I have all 8 episodes on DVD actually. It was a good mid-season replacement show but the guy who played Prince Julian was killed in a motorcycle accident during hiatus. Fans had mounted a letter writing campaign to get to be a regular season show but his death took all the wind out of their sails.

Stacy Haiduk and Jeff Kober nailed their roles in this as Lily Langtree the Toreador Primogen and Daedalus the Nosferatu Primogen.
