From the answer to my question about the primer, my guess is that the primer may be released electronically -- but not yet.

Regarding the probability curve, I stopped short of an astrophysics degree -- pure math ain't my thing. Wink If it took that long to run, I'm not sure I want to tinker with getting it right. Maybe once I'm hopelessly addicted to the game and have no choice but to satisfy my curiosity. Wink

Does the book in the picture have a dust-jacket? If so, is this book more of a "library book" sized book than a full-size gaming book? I can't gauge relative size from the picture alone, but it might be a cool aesthetic way to tie it back to it's literary roots, as well as allow it to sit on the shelf next to your Mistborn novel hardcovers and not look all huge and ungainly. And there WAS some talk of making the format of this game different in a "cool" way...

Hey, if Walter John Williams wrote the Cyberpunk sourcebook for Hardwired and Philip Josè Farmer required other authors to read GURPS Riverworld to play in that universe, there 's got to be some hope.

For those of us who can't pass Dice Alley without losing a significant chunk of their paychecks, what would you recommend for minimum and high dice pools?

So geeked out over this. Can't wait to see the Crafty gents and talk gaming!

2 to 10 six-sided dice, averaging 4-5.

Looking through the primer, I can't seem to find any rules for flaring as opposed to just burning. Was this removed for simplicity/balance, or is it part of the extended rules and deemed not important enough for the primer?
