Evidently, that saying covers both the theme of the product and the quality level. Smiley

Got it, love it. It does get a bit repetitive (This trick lets you use the Wisdom modifier, this trick lets you use the Charisma modifier...), but there's still a hell of a lot of neat stuff in there.

Okay, trying to cut down on the gushing praise a bit...it's pretty interesting to see the differences between the stuff you teased us with and the final versions. The "Master" feats in particular are very nice - +5 base damage for my sword? You guys are my kind of nuts. Cheesy

Glad you like. Hopefully we can keep you just as happy with our upcoming releases. Smiley

Next up - most likely - Class Confidential: Soldier. I'm editing that shortly.

Ok, I thought that I would be forced to wait until my PayPal account gets some cash to order this one.
Things change and sometimes for the better.

I got it too - like it quite a bit. Some very useful and interesting stuff. I especially like the idea behind Merciful Fist, allowing one to have all-out martial arts duels - which seem to double for handshakes in those kinds of movies - without fear of harsh consequences.

Though I ( already ) have a question : Would the initial attack of the 'two check knock-out attack' of, say, Blade Master cause the target to cease being flatfooted - if flatfooted he was before - or would he be flatfooted for the second check as well, as the original attack did not really take place?

I would say he is also flat-footed for the second attack. The description says "immediately" which means that it is something like confirming a crit hit in D&D.

Fearsome Glare - has this feat been made to portray Logan?

I purchased it the moment it went live late last night. Haven't really had much of a chance to peruse it yet but I will and will be making notes when I do.

Yup, I like. Can't wait to see people cook up some character builds with a couple of these tricks thrown in... Grin

I love it so far ... It goes without saying but I'll say it anyway: this is one more thing to wave under people's noses in advance of FC hitting to prove to them how much better Crafty is than WOTC.

I spent the whole day looking forward to coming home and buying Practice Makes Perfect. Got here, logged on, and rpgnow crapped out on me -- wouldn't let me put in any payment details. Imagine my surprise when a download link turned up in my inbox anyway!

I'm currently waiting on an email from the rpgnow help desk. Crafty will get my $2.50, even if I have to put some change in an envelope and send it airmail!

Looks fun, but there are a few things that I wonder if I read right.

Parry use is based on the number of Ranged Combat feats...  Is that a typo, should that be Melee Combat feats?  Makes more sense to parry with a staff or sword than with a revolver.

The Practiced abilities list themselves as taking a full action, but aren't a trick.  So, you take a 'normal' unarmed attack/kick action with Practiced Blow(and apply an unarmed combat trick), but it takes a full action instead of half action and you get the pre-rolled value, which CAN be a threat for abilities that are 'turned on' by a threat, but it can't be activated into a crit?

I am jealous of you all.  DriveThruRPG.com had a problem with their server when I tried to order mine and I'm not yet able to download it.
