i am lying here mindlessly surfing the web on a peaceful night, zz top story tellers on the tv, and all i can think is my whiskey is 150 miles away at home on top of the fridge.

those tend to be frowned upon around here because of open container laws...

I think you need to turn in your southerner card if you let your whiskey get that far away.  Wink

...and those laws are the reason why i did not bring it with me.

i will drink most whisky, whiskey though i did mean the latter in this case. i have a bottle of jim beam at home.  but that is mainly because i dont have the money for a good scotch.

We have the same problem in a small part of Birmingham. Booze can't be sold around the Cadbury's chocolate factory!

Everything I can think of about those two situations is profane, blasphemous, and might make proponents of these asinine policies cry, soil their undergarment, or call the police.   Angry
