As a new user of these forums, I've been wondering if there's any plans for including dramtic conflicts in FC, or in another suppliment to MasterCraft?

If so, which one? And is viable to see it within the next year?

I won't speak for the Central Planners and their plans, but I will say that the Dramatic Conflicts port over reasonably easily as they stand. Chases, Seductions, Interrogations, and Manhunts are the easiest, but even the Infiltration or the Brainwashing isn't too tough. Hacking's been bandied about many moons ago as being something that can be reskinned as an exercise in penetrating people's magical wards, but that's heavily campaign-flavor dependent.

Huh, well, that settles it. I'll convert the Spycraft DCon's, and eagerly await the release that you talk about.

Sorry I can't be more specific, Rabbits, but things are still being hammered out exactly. You'll definitely see something though. Smiley

You know.. I can't help but to picture the Crafty Offices like some Mad Wizard's library.  Source Documents, books sprawled up and down the 7 story tower, sticky notes covering everything that's tangible, the eerie glow of haunted PCs (or Macs), all the while the Crafty Wizards are toiling under flickering candle light with wild hair and cats who ride dogs around trying to help.

Ha! Wouldn't that be somethin'? Wink

I can attest that the process is often something like a wizard's brew. Our plans for Dramatic Conflicts have shifted - nay, mutated - at least a half dozen times since we started looking at them for Mastercraft, and I think we've largely settled on what they'll look like, but you never can tell. There's magic in the mixing, and it doesn't always reveal itself until it's good and ready.

Game company offices are really more like college newspaper offices, but with less hair and smaller budgets.
