I'm new to Fantasy Craft and have a friend who is also interested in learning the game.  We're hoping to find either a GM or a small group to join that's willing to help us learn the game by actually playing through a game with us.  We'd prefer a basic game with few house rules just so we can get a feel for the game.  We're fine with either playing by posting in the forum or by live sessions over some kind of service.  We can work out a schedule if we need to.

I'm in California, but my friend is in Texas, that's why we're trying to play a game online.  I should have probably mentioned that. ^^;;;

If someone wants to run one, i'd like to play for once. Epoch or Cloak and Dagger would be nice. Gentry, i'm looking at you.  Wink

Come to think of it, after GenCon I might just do a PbP here on the forums. This year's module seems like it would fit the format better than previous years. I'll ponder on that, and look to autumn.

What would be a preferred setting, if at all?

I'd like to start tinkering with character ideas.

Personally, I'd like to use a setting that would be pretty generic just so that we could learn how Fantasy Craft works.  Of course I'd leave the details up to the gm.

You guys suck, to toy with my madness in such a way.  Smiley

This year's GenCon adventure, Sins of the Fathers, uses a lot of the details discussed in the Valespire mini-setting that came with Time of High Adventure. SotF is set in Valespire itself, rather than some outlying area of The Realm.

But don't get all giddy. It'll be late August at least before I clear enough other stuff off my plate to be able to dedicate time to running a PbP.

I could probably take new players on after the current scene in my Runelords game, if my players are cool with it.

I myself am totally up for participating in a PnP campaign if someone wants to start one up.

Yeah, which is why Eloise will most likely be settling down in Sandpoint.
