So, we are starting up a new campaign soon, and I was browsing feats to spawn for ideas, and then....

Two Weapon Defense (Adventure Companion)

Since it turns the Guard Defense Bonus of one of your weapons into an Insight Bonus.
And Shields are really Blunt Weapons.
Coupled with Shield Tree (Mastery for increasing the Guard quality by +2)

Wielding two Metal Shields, increase Defense by +8
Not counting Class Bonuses, Dex, and all that.

So? you may say, that just means that you don't hardly get hit, but you are only doing 1d4 Subdual Damage.

To that I would either say build it out of a Saurian (w/ Agile Defense, Bonus!) and use Tail Attack, or throw in Martial Arts and simply kick things.
(or a third variant - Draconic Legacy fire breath - and that comes with Thick Hide)

Just make sure to max out your Acrobatics, Athletics, and Notice, because being grappled, tripped, or flat-footed sends guard-based bonuses out the window.

we discovered in our last campaign that elemental Legacy is Great for that, being an actual Elemental means that you cannot become Flanked (I guess your eyes move to the sides of your head or something).

but otherwise, yes - the guard bonus can be taken away, but until then.... fun times.

Not that any of that is an issue with multi-arms. What's that? You're using two shields, a 2-hander, AND getting your bonus from blocking basics?

It's a legitimately powerful combo for something so feat-heavy, imho.  Would make a heck of a tough Soldier or Martial Artist, but then you'd want to throw in Aggro Basics and lots of sense motive as well to make sure people actually tried to hit you rather than go after your team mates.  Almost better on an NPC than a PC (to force the PCs to get creative).  Simply introducing the antagonist as "a walking tree swinging around a battering ram fitted with a dragon's skull and blocking all incoming attacks with one or the other of two enormous shields made out of thick scaly skin mounted on bone" should give your PCs that here's an opponent they don't want to simply charge in and have a go at.

As far as countermeasures go, my players have figured out that a simple disarm works wonders for breaking an undead shield line.
