I squealed out loud when I saw that there was a city named Elendel. Sooo perfect...

That is great news!! :D

So ... Twinborn, huh? What do we think about this? What great combinations of Allomantic and Feruchemical talent might be possible? Alloy of Law already features one with Allomantic and Feruchemical Iron power which means he can manipulate his weight and push metal. That in turn means he can launch cars at people while weighing eleven tons -- that or push himself away from a coin even while it's in mid-air. The synopsis mentions guns. The applications for that are obvious  >:D

Let's see: a Pewter-Thug with Gold healing would be pretty impressive. An Allomantic Coinshot who is also a Feruchemical Tineye would make an amazing sniper. Then there's Pewterthug with Feruchemical Steel (physical speed).

That cover looks awesome, is the RPG going to incorporate any material from the new novel? it does look pretty steampunky

The RPG will be covering the original trilogy - there's plenty of grist to work with there already, and the world is different enough just based on what you see in the cover  that doing both in the core book wouldn't do either justice :) Let's say we have...plans. But when don't we?  ::)

Just been reading more about this book. I just glad that Gollancz is making the covers match the awesome UK Mistborn covers! ;D

Cheers! :D

Well, I have to say that I lucked out and got an advance reader for Alloy of Law >:D...I have to say that the options for gameplay that Twinborns will open up will be amazing. Plus, I think that a game set in the Roughs is called for.

Will the book bring put out also cover the post-Final Empire era as well? Having material that would allow us to play in the new time line of 320ish after the fall of the Final Empire would be awesome with the Twinborn and emerging tech.

<-- is confused. Are you asking about the period between the Final Empire and Alloy? If so, then the answer is those are the two periods we're focusing on right now. Other periods may or may not get attention in the future, once we've explored these two more fully.

Err...yes?... I guess my question was will hte Mistborn book that is going to be released in December have material to play in the Alloy of Law era as well as the Final Empire era?

Ah, I see. Then the answer is no. The core Mistborn Adventure Game line focuses exclusively on the era of the Final Empire. We'll be presenting the Alloy of Law era in a follow-up supplement for the game, and that may see separate expansion as well (we're still debating whether it's necessary, and we probably won't come down on one of that argument or another until we're deep in that supplement's development).

There will be a full range of Final Empire support supplements, however, and work on those is already underway.
