Right now I'm thinking this would fit the big dude from Temple of Doom. Heh.

Are we talking merely about someone over 7' tall and heavily built here, a la Andre the Giant, or about someone who's actually superhumanly large?

Strength and Size aren't necessarily the same thing; there are as many trade offs as there are benefits for both

That is true. I'm just wondering what context explains a Talent for an 8' tall, 500+ lb. human.

The threshold is actually 7'6" but with the large being given NOT granting use of Large-scale weapons, there may be a little bit of fudge factor even below that measure :).

Some people are just freakishly large, especially in a cinematic world.

I was wondering more about Fezzik from the Princess Bride, hence the Andre the Giant (7'4) question, or the cameo of Sun Ming Ming (7'9) as an unusually large monk in Rush Hour 3 (EDIT: from 2 minutes in).

The greatest increase in power this would grant over, say, Improved Stability, would be with regards to the Massive and Giantcraft weapons properties, imho.  Overall, it seems like good fun, although I did have initial reservations about giving to humans a size tag that I'd previously understood as inherently, if not explicitly, larger-than-human.
