This lightly curved blade is said to have been given my an elven noblewoman to her human paramour, a traveling bard. When he was attacked for offending an influential man, its magic was not enough to save him. His elven lover retrieved the blade and took her revenge on his killers, supposedly disappearing into obscurity after. Since that time, it has appeared in the hands of several new owners, of varying levels of celebrity. The blade is supposed to itself have a taste for vengeance; it is certainly true that no master has successfuly retired to a peaceful life.

I like the Runed Blacksword, that essence/charm combo actually says a lot about the item without the description, haha. Here are a couple of really simple magic items my players got a kick out of last game (We use flexible magic items):

Everful Purse / Everful Pack

These oft duplicated leather or cloth sacks of varying size and fashion seem simple and flat out mundane at first glance, but seem without fail to always have a few more coins stuck in the folds than expected, or shake loose an item or object often seemingly at random.

Item: Pouch or Purse
Essence: Feat (Yeoman's Work)
Reputation Value: 20

Or

Item: Backpack
Essences: Feat (Adventurer's Luck), Feat (Yeoman's Work)
Reputation Value: 40

And of course there's always room for the predictable curse: This stuff has to come from somewhere

Nice.

I'm plannig to have an occasional magic item marketplace in the setting I'm working on right now - a handful of items on offer 2-3 times a year. These would fit right in Smiley.

The winds will blow...

Unicorn Bow
This kind of bow was first made by elven craftsmen with the horn and hair of a willing unicorn. Then others learned the secret of unicorn horn increasing resistance to poison, disease or other effects on the fortitude of the wielder.

It's common to find these bows enchanted with some increased accuracy, damage or a bonus to the overall dexterity of the archer. Legends say that for a while an Aristocrat house in Crandol used this bow to hunt elves for sport.

Item: Long bow (2-handed νtem)

Essence: Greater Save Bonus (+3 magic bonus with Fort saves)

Lesser Charm: Lesser Damage Bonus (+1 at Level 1–6, +2 at Level 7–12, +3 at Level 13–18, +4 at Level 19–20)

Reputation Value: 23 (Level 1–6), 31 (Level 7–12), 39 (Level 13–18), 47 (Level 19–20)

Author's Note: The first of a set of three excellent prizes for my PCs. I use the "Flexible Magic Items" campaign quality

Power armor!

ELECTRUM TITAN ARMOR

This suit of high quality steel alloy armor has a distinctive pale yellow finish, owing to its electroplated outer shell. If captured, it could prove expensive to fit to a new owner. However, its advantages are considerable. Thanks to the energy contained in the armor, it moves easily, and grants its wearer energetically enhanced strength. Such a suit of armor can turn a warrior into a titan capble of flinging ordinary folk to their doom and rending walls and doors. Rarely traded, it is most often bestowed on great military champions, or constructed by warrior-magicians or warrior-alchemists for their own personal armament.

Item: Superior Moderate Platemail with Heavy Fittings (armor)
Essence: Greater ACP Negation
Charm: Greater Attribute Bonus (+2 Strength at Level 1-2, +3 at Level 3-6, +4 at Level 7-10, +5 at Level 11-14, +6 at Level 15-18, +7 at Level 19-20)
