I will take the first ability to duck around a corner to set-up a quick ambush.   I will draw my Webley during the set-up if I can, if not I will try to surreptitiously draw it as I walk.

Long Iron draws ahead and find the perfect spot to hide, drawing your gun as you move into it.  The thugs turn the corner thinking they have just the right distance.

Long Iron finds himself in an alley, actually taking the high ground climbing a half stairwell and taking cover behind it. The alley allowed him to get out of view of everyone, and made it harder for them to follow close behind withouit being noticed, giving him more time to prepare.
The two men enter the alley somewhat cautiously walking side by side, but fail to look up.  Before they know it, Long Iron is behind them and over them. Once they pass him, they need only turn aroudn to be be in his full view. Which means he has open shots behind them.
