Well, aapart from that not being surprising given Amy's epic levels of self-involvement, Rory did kill her that 1st time.
they were warned about that, also what happened to spoiler tags?

I'm enjoying it so far, of course I saw the original when I was like 4 years old and as such am lacking much in the way of nostalgia.  The other guy in my gaming group who watches it digs it too.

It ticks a lot of boxes for me, showing as it does a more 'alien' world and culture -- at least in the early episodes, I'm about 3 weeks or so behind atm -- than the original series, though I find the writing wildly variable. The character design is interesting -- particularly the way the kitlings have tails and others don't, an attribute the 1st episodes showed wasn't linked to adulthood -- but I dislike Panthro and Cheetarah's modern look.

Hannibal Lecter TV Series in the works: Normally I'd dismiss this out of hand, but Bryan Fuller's attached, which means I pretty much have to tune in, at least for the pilot. Maybe they'll also get Tim Minear involved. He created The Inside, and that's seems like a marvelous pedigree for something like this.

Caught the summer finale of "Burn Notice" last night... Brilliant. It was probably one of the strongest endings the show has had.

Greg Nicotero made Co-Executive Producer on Walking Dead and Inks First-Look Deal with AMC: He also "conceived and directed the zombie drama’s six-episode web series, produced by Generate, that will premiere Oct. 3. The web series, penned by John Espositio, tells the origin story of “Bicycle Girl,” the infamous “walker” from Season 1, as she struggles to survive and protect her family as the world begins to fall apart."

Pretty sweet, and a great move for Walking Dead. It also says something interesting about Frank Darabont's departure, given that he and Nicotero are pretty tight.

And why "Burn Notice" doesn't get much Emmy love is beyond my comprehension. I'm beginning to suspect that those who come up with the nominations are really elitist jerks that can't be bothered to actually watch a television show every now and then.
