Gaumont International Television working on Barbarella series: This is intended for the French market and so far no channels in other countries are involved. It makes sense to me actually. If a show based on that material can work anywhere, it'll be in France.

July can't get here quick enough!

Another thing I just found out about is Danger 5, it's apparently an Australian tv show. Reminds me of a live action Thunderbirds with a heavy dose of comedy. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0Z09bNgSeMI

I would enjoy seeing more of this.

Suh-weet!

All those interested (stateside, or can get AMC), the network is going to start running the show from the beginning starting Thursday, June 28.

Farewell, Iron Man: Armoured Adventures

As a series you had your flaws, but you always gave it your best shot.

Yes there were a lot of guys in suits of high tech ammunition, but you also gave us some awesome ladies: the fearsome lioness and decidedly rare mother figure of Roberta Rhodes, the surprisingly deep Whitney Stane, the dedicated Maria Hill, the deadly Black Widow, even the resolute Jean Grey. And you gave us the bubbly, geeky, brave, and utterly loyal Pepper Potts as Rescue (even if it took 2 seasons, but hey, the series ends with her and the guys flying into the sunset).

With the broader Marvel community having made itself known in the 2nd season through the appearance of the X-Men, Hulk, Doctor Doom, the Black Panther, as well as the namechecking of Thor, Spiderman, the Fantastic Four, and others, I think the 3rd season that will now never be would have been awesome.

Thank you for ending the series on a high.

Nice, I've been enjoying the way Season 2 has developed.
