I did have one question...

In converting the Aboleth for FC, the aboleth has an attack which does damage and then has 2 additional effects, one is like a Con drain and the other causes ongoing damage.

I thought of simulating this with the bleed effect. In looking at the resulting stat block, I see that it lists the attack as such...

Attacks/Weapons: Tentacle slap I × 4, Slime (wounding I; linked to attack Tentacle), Slime (draining, attribute I; linked to attack Tentacle).

Is that the generally accepted format for the effects from a single attack?

I tried to find a similar example of an attack that had 2 effects on it in the core book but I couldn't see anything off hand.

I tried cutting and pasting an Earth Elemental today (from Conjure Elemental p123) and the 'OK' button wouldn't accept the write-up.  I had to go in and build it manually.

The same thing happened with Elder Elemental from the bestiary, but it did accept other cut and pastes fine.  I couldn't figure out what was different about those ones specifically.

I have an identical issue, but with the "Dog" entries. None of the three stock dogs will parse through the builder. Is there perhaps a small but important formatting difference in some of the book statblocks? If there is, I can't find it.

Both of these issues are now fixed. For those interested, the problem in the stat blocks was a missing footprint and/or reach. The NPC builder was also having trouble with 'Treasure: none', this confused its poor little mind.

Also, some may like to know I've also just added a new feature, the 'Explain XP' button which sits next to the threat level drop-down. Clicking this button will show a complete point-by-point breakdown of how the XP total for the NPC was reached. It should be useful for fine-tuning an NPC to a target XP total, and also for diagnosing the occasions where the total on the builder differs from that in the book.

If anyone does find a problem in the XP calculation please let me know here or via a PM.

I say again that you are, of course, the man.

Thank you so much for taking the time to look into this.  I'm not sure what I'd do without your builder.  It makes my DMing life so much easier!

I was trying to get prepared for a game last weekend, and I wouldn't have finished on time without your NPC Builder.  It took me just an hour to stat up pages of NPCs for my game.  It is a really great time saver.

Selfish of me to ask, but if you ever decide to stop hosting/abandon this, could you pass it off to Crafty?  Or release it as a standalone?  It really has become indispensable.

I think an "app" is in order somewhere down the line, myself.

The builder seems unable to load any of the NPCs from the "call from beyond" line of spells. I haven't a clue why, and don't encounter this error anywhere else.

I can put the text in the input, but clicking "OK" does nothing.

I think the NPC Builder still has problems if the skill or qualities section reads "none".  If you delete the "none" entry, it should read the stat block normally.

Noted, I'll try and get a fix for this out soon.

For those following this, I've fixed the problems for the Call From Beyond NPCs as well as resolving a few issues which were plaguing loading and editing extraordinary attacks.
