Contagion trailer: I think this is Soderberg's last outing, and if so he seems to be going out with a bang (but really, who would expect any less?).

I love the look of the Carter movie, but I have a Prince of Persia-style dread that it'll be all look and no love. But I'm optimistic about Conan--I can be optimistic about Carter, too.  Smiley

Precisely my reaction watching the trailer.  Cautiously optimistic.  If nothing else looking at Andrew Stanton's credits makes me feel positive - after writing and directing Wall-E, the man definitely knows how to put heart into a film.  As long as he's a fan of the source material I think we're in good hands.  Not to mention being one of the scribes of the Toy Story trilogy, as well as Finding Nemo and Monsters Inc.  Almost makes me feel this should have been animated...

Did I mention that the Thing prequel is nearly finished, and it looks really good? My mouth was actually hanging open by the end of the trailer. The first noise I made was an excited squeek.

Bear in mind that this is coming from me, and i'm never happy with anything... I mean, they actually made sure that the rooms in the Norwegian base were the exact same size and layout as the ones in the Carpenter movie.

I'm so excited! The music, the music!

It's a teaser. It'll be in front of Cap'n A.

Dark Knight Rises teaser: I can attest that this is the real deal. It ran in front of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows 2 over the weekend (and, you know, this is the official Facebook Page). It's not on Youtube yet, as far as I can tell with a quick search.

I heard that this is to be the extra scene (or sequence) at the end of the movie.

That would surprise me, but I wouldn't put it past them either. Wink
