Watching the brief clip of Jinx and Snake Eyes battle ninjas on the side of a mountain made me smile.  It made me smile to write that line.

Adrianne is Lady Jayne and Dwayne is Roadblock. Cover Girl was killed in the first movie.

Dunno if the flick will be any better than the last one, but at least it's aimed in the right direction - for now.
They got the worst of their toy mania out of their system last flick?  This time they're keeping it "real"?

The first thought when I saw those three transport plans were that they were Cobra Rattlers, and there's some sort of snow tanky thing.

Agreed on the great cast and an interesting story idea with the systematic elimination of senses.

Luc Besson's latest production is Lock-Out (with James Mather and Stephen St. Leger directing). Looks pretty interesting.

So now this is called MS One: Maximum Security, and we have a trailer that pretty much rolls out the plot.

Still looks interestin'.

It not only looks interesting but I like the concept and the cast.

Guy Pearce is back in good form with a good sense of sarcasm. Maggie Grace is underrated, although she tends to play the damsel more often than not but she is more talented than just a face (check her Lost audition if you don't believe me). Peter Stormare is always good as a sleazy bureaucrat/club owner/government hack etc.

I do have to say I enjoyed those lines and Guy Pearce delivered them with deadpan precision.

I have to admit, my first reaction was: "So, they're making a film about Jack's recruitment mission from Mass Effect 2".  Still looks pretty cool, and loving Guy Pearce's lines and delivery.

Bryan Singer's film actually looks like a fun romp. But Sacha Baron Cohen's film The Dictator looks absolutely hysterical. http://www.traileraddict.com/trailer/the-dictator/trailer

Saw Sherlock Holmes this morning. It is a retelling of the Final Problem with Guy Ritchie's vision to it. I paid matinee pricing and felt adequately compensated. There is good, bad, and ugly.

Good: Noomi Rapace is solid as I knew she would be and brilliant in her share of the action. Rachel McAdams does very well during her time in the film. Action sequences are very well done. Downey is Downey. ... Some nice surprises: Stephen Fry as Mycroft was very cool. The actual layout of the plot and story was very well done. Some the resolutions to some of the characters was very well done, especially Moriarty's main henchman. There was some good bookending to it.

Bad: Moriarty is always cold and calculating and ... sinister. Do not recall the name of the actor who played him but he just could not nail down that 3rd part. Rachel's time on film was short, very regrettable. ... If you've read the Final Problem, then you know how it ends. If you haven't read it, do so after the film.

Ugly: Downright biggest offense to me was the intellectual observations of Holmes' unarmed combat in advance of it happening. It's tiresome.

Half of his dialogue is unintelligable. The other half sounds like Sean Connery. I seriously hope that it's corrected in post-production, or it will utterly kill the movie.
