Thanks Pat, much appreciated, and I agree with everything you've written there.  I really liked the bookending - it had such impact.  This was one of the first films I've stayed through a large portion of the credits because of shock, rather then because something might happen during/after the credits.

I definitely want to watch it again.

Now I just have to wait a week to see Captain America, so I can finally read all those spoiler posts...

I will not spoil it for you, but I will concur with everyone else - it's well worth your valuable time.

I presume you mean Attack the Block, which is indeed awesome. Good to hear it has got a release across the pond and is being appreciated.

yep, not sure what happened with that post... Toronto is the only city in North American that is showing it on more than 1 screen. It's a fantastic first outing by the director. Attack the Block deserves to do well.

You do realise that the kids that I teach are basically the characters in this movie, right?

The characters are the main strength of this movie, so if in that sense the film is close to reality...your classroom must be an interesting place indeed. I'm torn between saluting or pitying you, lol.

That is the truest comment i've ever heard in regards to my job - it is *never* boring. I've lost more kids to prison than I could count on both hands. Several armed robberies, several assaults, an aggravated burglary, conspiracy to rob, even at least one who went down for murder. At 16.

First look at Henry Cavill in his Superman suit

Interesting how they're teasing the absence (or not) of the red undies.

A look at the hi-res would seem to indicate both that the undies are history, and that there's some sort of panelling on the costume's thigh.
