Richard Biggs passing was in 2004.  I only remember it because I saw that he had been at a new small Sci Fi/Fantasy Convention that had just started in MN and I was pissed about not going.  It was probably the year before he passed too.

Near miss: Joss Stone

I mean, why her? She's so inoffensive, I just can't wrap my head around it.  Undecided

She was in Eragon.

Either that, or her close friendship with the new royal couple.

There is that. She's a friend of Kate Middleton, right?

Not a clue. I just saw it mentioned in one article.

The woman who bore and raised me, and is primarily resonsible for my geekiness.

I found her this morning, the coroner just left with her, and it still all seems a little unreal.

Aw man, that sucks.  I still miss my mother and she'll have been gone 2 years on July 3.    Cry

Deepest condolences, Krensky. It will be 10 years this December since I lost my Dad, so I know how it feels.

You have my condolences Krensky.

My grandmother passed away last week. Alzheimer's is a bitch. It's horrible to watch that disease go after anyone. Her passing made me realize now that I only have three other connections to my grandfather, who died five days before I was born. I have stories and family legends about his exploits, so I have to hold on to those as much as possible.
