The Definistration Administration! (permanent): Each time a character becomes sprawed, an unfortunate plate of glass pays the price, and that character begins bleeding.

Word.
haha I really like that in fact I would be very tempted to actually use it in one our less serious games

Saw The Town last night - perfect narrative for a Southtown robbery crew from Empire City! The overtones of Heat (and a little Point Break) were obvious, but I thought it was really well balanced and told. One of the more satisfying movies I've taken in in 2010.

Its hard for modern crime films to not borrow a bit from Heat. 'Cause, well, its really good. I don't know that there's been many contemporary crime flicks to compete with it since it came out.

Killing of a Chinese Bookie is terrific. I wasn't very familiar with Cassavetes but I knew his reputation as a kinda cinema verite talky proto-indie filmmaker. So, when it turned out to be a really cool (if weird) noir movie, I was pleasantly surprised. I heard that "Gloria" is another good Cassavetes crime flick, but that's just by reputation. Its about a tough moll who helps out a street kid while fighting the mob.

How about:

Assault on Precinct 13

The first one - not the horrendous remake.

What the hell, let's wake this one up.

Confidence is a pretty good little con/grifter flick. If you're looking for a less-violent side of crime stories, check this one out.
The above may be conjecture, deliberate paraphrase, or outright bullshit.

Having just watched it tonight after far too long, Alien Nation is definitely a 10KB film.
