See, this looks much better than the picture of a snowman my friend built outside his house yesterday.  There's a reason I live in California, and more importantly, a reason I don't leave.

I'm a wee bit sad that I missed the five straight days of rain in SoCal last week, but at least I got a taste of it this evening. The drive home from Christmas dinner (lamb with mint jelly - yum!) was insanely awesome - slick streets under a steady dust of heaven's tears at 45F. Perfection! Grin

A perfect Christmas here in the north of England (best part of the world in this Yorkshireman's opinion!) - just enough snow to get that festive, seasonal feel without causing any problems (unlike the rest of the country); and with my mother's Christmas turkey dinner, what more can a chap ask for!

Merry Christmas all and stay Crafty.

Pat, get yourself on a flight to NZ. We'll hook you up with a 'proper' Xmas. You can have (good) lamb and mint sauce and enough sun to last you a lifetime (don't forget the sunscreen because we do suffer from America's 'largesse').

Ask Alex, he knows how good it is Wink

I take that Sir and wear it as a badge of pride! To slightly mis-quote Cecil Rhodes - "To be born a Yorkshireman is to win first place in the lottery of life."

Merry Christmas to thee.

We had a little rain this morning, and there's more on the horizon according to the news. I'll believe it when I see it, though.
