I should have thought of this earlier, before Black Friday had come and gone... ah well, maybe next year.

Some sale items that are not yet come and gone -

A sale that does me no good whatsoever, except as possible Christmas gifts - I already have all of them.

Of note:
Streets of Legend - a pretty nifty set of, well, streets. Tongue Clean, dirty, and post-Apocalyptic. I used it in my Spycraft 2.0Fallout 3 game.

Mayhem PD - a police department. While I have not used it I do have plans to make a multi-use build. A PD for Fallout and an Ops Center for Spycraft.

Atlantis - a series of buildings and walkways, sunk beneath the sea. I used this a whiles back for my Steamcraft game.

Red Sector - perfect for anyone who plays Necromunda. One of the biggest builds I ever created was using this set, and planning out something for Farthest Star, back when it was going to be a Spycraft setting. I built it while in the throes of a high fever, faster than I have done before or since.

Skull Cove - Arrr! A pirate island and fort, possibly the most fun set that World Works has made - particularly in conjunction with The Maiden of the High Seas (not currently discounted - if it shows up I will post it here too). Boats, cliffs, cannon, a wooden derrick, and a skull temple to place on top of the cliffs. My favorite of the sale items. Smiley

First Light - a modular space ship. I made a number of floating sets for a Babylon 5 game that never happened. If you run a space game, and the players have their own ship, then this is well worth the investment of time. My second favorite in this portion of the sale.

Anyone else got something?

Anyone? Anything? So far Borders has been getting all my holiday money on everything that I am not doing for somebody else....

The Auld Grump - Hired to paint two dozen miniatures and four wine bottles this year as Christmas presents... on top of running an extra game (for hire) and overtime at work....

Quick reviews of the highlights....

Castle Works Ultimate - a very nice modular castle. Smiley Not (yet) available in a TLX format, but excellent for, well, castles.

Himmelveil Canals - canals in a TLX format. Also contains docks, pilings, some nifty walls with inlets and outlets, some spewing water, others not, and a canal lock. Best used with another TLX set, since it is otherwise missing some necessary pieces. Speaking of which....

Looks like a dwarf to me....

Lost Halls - a modular kit for building a lost dwarven stronghold. For some reason I have always pictured dwarfs building canals, this set goes wonderfully well with Canals, especially since the faces around the water outlets and inlets have a definitely dwarven look to them. Smiley These two are well purchased as a pair. My favorite for this installment.

Shellendrak Manor - a modular haunted house kit. I have not used it much, aside from a 3D Clue board I built a few years ago as a Christmas present. Not TLX compatible, but nice, and very versatile for building modern or Victorian houses.

Harbor Master - a non modular kit for building a Victorian style harbor master's office/home. It can also be used for a train station, and in fact has seen a lot more use as such when in my games.

Mayhem Marina - a modular, nonTLX harbor for modern games, and includes a tugboat. Docks, buildings, and a few, umm oddities (what is that thing on the hook?).

Mars Station - a small frontier town on Mars? Definitely SF, but somehow it feels a bit like the old West.

Just thought I'd mention that the whole Twilight: 2013 bundle (including the SC2.0 compatible supplements) is available now for $10.

Not a bad price at all, at all. Smiley

I already have the whole kit 'n' kaboodle, at least I think so. (Not sure when it last updated.) And of course the bundle is worth it just for the Shooter's Guides, which are SC2.0 compatible. Smiley

Well, not a tabletop RPG sale, but GOG is having a holiday sale, including Arcanum (one of my all time favorite games) Baldur's Gate, Master of Orion, Gabriel Knight....

Some good stuff, and fairly cheap.

The Auld Grump, who still has not completely forgiven their 'we are going out of business' prank... but still likes their Good Old Games.

It is not yet Twelfth Night, so I guess this still counts....

Dungeon Trader is having a 45% off sale on miniatures and books for WARMACHINE and Hordes - really good if you are running a Spycraft or Fantasy Craft Iron Kingdoms campaign, or fantasy steampunk in general.
