Back to Basics - Favoured Classes

I was looking at BtB yesterday and making characters with 2 versions, an standard one and a BtB one, just to see how different concepts worked under the two systems.

I got to doing some of the more fantastical ones and was wondering what to do about favoured classes... My current inclinations are going towards:

Centaur:   Fast
Blood of Chiron   Dedicated
Blood of Ixion   Smart
Blood of Nessus   Strong
Blood Oreus   Charismatic

Faun:   Charismatic
Fauns Cunning   Dedicated
Fauns Hedonism   Tough
Fauns Logic   Smart
Fauns Mischief   Fast
Fauns Pursuit   Strong

I initially stayed with 2 classes for the race, but then Faun would need duplicates in his feats (which I suppose may be acceptable...).
Any ideas, or any comments and why the above is a bad idea?

As a glance those seem like a good fit. Hoepfully you'll be up to doing a similar list for Classic Fantasy Races .

[Number Three]

I'm iffy on the idea.  Favored classes seem to go against the generalist nature of the weaker Basics/Modern classes.  On the other hand, discarding favored classes means racial talents are ahead of the game as well as leaving a bunch of Species feats without a purpose.  I'm leaning toward favored classes, but I'd have to another look at Light of Olympus because I'm pretty sure the initial favored classes were divergent enough that they didn't lend themselves to a single basic class.

After coming back to this again, I think 2 classes would probably work better
Centaur:   Fast or Smart
Blood of Chiron   Dedicated
Blood of Ixion   Charismatic
Blood of Nessus   Strong
Blood Orneus   Tough

Faun:   Fast or Charismatic
Fauns Cunning   Dedicated
Fauns Hedonism   Tough
Fauns Logic   Smart
Fauns Mischief   Dedicated
Fauns Pursuit   Strong

This does result in Dedicated being duplicated though - might have to check that's the right duplication  later - but I don't have time to go through all the options at the moment.

Duplicates are to be expected when you are going froma spread of 12-18 down to 6 .

The new list looks good.
