There's also Faery's Tale, which your FLGS (Hi! [waves]) should still be able to acquire for you in hardcopy.

[EDIT] It's not an roleplaying game, but if you can find it, there's Days of Wonder's Queen's Necklace.  Girly theme, good card game, sadly out of print.  Sad
wow I just saw that one..dang..
(I am tempted to buy that as a resource for the fairies for my campaign with FC too if it has enough fluff)

Get her one for her birthday and one for Christmas (or whatever winter festival your family celebrates).

Does she like Doctor Who? That has a kid-friendly RPG.

Either way, or Munchkin. You don't have to get all the jokes at first.

Smiley I've decided I'll get Faery's tale for now and Witch girls in a year or so when she'll be more ready.
I'll also bring Munchkin so we can play and if it goes well maybe that'll be one of the next gifts too.

She's shown no interest in Doctor Who I'm afraid

I remeber reading about an RPG actually aimed at that demographic, Witch Adventures or something. Same mold as Win. Let me see if I can dig a link up for you.

EDIT: Here you go: http://www.witchgirlsadventures.com/
Are you sure its not for teenagers though?
Would a girl around 10-11 dress up like a goth?...Or is it me who is so detached from younger generations?
Or maybe they just roleplay older girls...

The first rule of young adult fiction is for your protagonists to be 2-3 years older than the kids you want reading them - that way the kids continue to have suspension of disbelief at what "older kids" get to do. Witch Girl would be a great starting RPG for a girl that age....

Just a quick last note:
I've talked with her parents and the system that best suits her is 'Witch girl adventures' so that's the one I'll be getting.
Once again thank you all Wink
