I have to admit I'm now idly curious what the Zerg would look like using the more advanced racial templating developed for Origin of the Species... Maybe with an eye towards Fragile Mind's new goodies Grin.

My big happy Tyranid moment was the old epic scale. God, their armor units are cool. That put the Starcraft stuff in its place, comparitively.

Oohkay, this thread has dissolved to in character discussions among tyranids.... and I contributed to that. ::sigh::

So, how about them orcs? They've got a really spiffy master class I hear.

Today, I'm aplying the final fixes to problems that came up in the tiger cage (mostly with the Talents themselves - the Master classes made it through largely unscathed). The stack of species feats in this thing is just huge. 7 pairs for dwarves, 13 pairs for elves, 5 singles for orc, and a surprising 5 pairs for Pech. Plus a smattering of support and flavor choices.

Elves' racial penalty penalty was a little too harsh and colided with their revised list of favored classes. The've managed to eek out a mere -2 to Constitution (it was -4 in the preview) and shifted favored classes to Pointman and Scout. This change also means the Hart Nation found a new favored class to offer. Mmm... Hart Nation are a fun bunch made even more amusing.

Dwarves' native Damage Reduction had to be scaled back a little bit because it was just too good. Now they are merely awesome instead of broke-y. Their masterclass remains a source of giddy anticipation for me. I want to hear some dwarf fan feedback. Alex is a Orc-friend and he seemed pretty happy Smiley.

I want to hear some dwarf fan feedback...

I await the release...  I'm very ready for a dwarf that is as tough as the stone they make their homes in.

I'm currently waiting for the Fantasy races and (hopefully) a couple more Spellbound volumes before kicking off a game I've had bouncing around my head for a while.
Though with the rate my gaming has been going at recently I may as well wait for FantasyCraft next year...

Looks like the FantasyCraft hardcover may add a few more subrace feat chains. Possible Bison Nation (painted elves) and Brokestone Folk (feral pech) have made a place for themselves in some of the sample campaigns Grin.
