As Hondo celebrates the fall of the Enclave stronghold, that's when he realises that something is amiss. It could be the walls on either side of him, boxing in the vertibird, or it could be the partially-demolished ceiling overhead. Then again, it could be the sheer drop that the vertibird's ass is precariously hanging over. It appears that the vertibird skipped off the roff of the building across the street, and came to a halt when it ploughed into this one. Concrete dust shrouds everything, and Hondo looks like some kind of corn-fed ghost.

Tiny pieces of rubble patter off the crippled aircraft, and as the survivors inside begin to move, the vertibird moves - ever so slightly - backwards. Toward the edge of the building, and a fifty foot drop to ground level. It doesn't look like it's going to stop. In fact it's actually starting to slide...

She noticed the room around them shifting, moving away.  "Fuuuuuuuuuuck," Alice muttered.  "She's falling out of the building!  Buckle up or Get OUT!"

"Shit!" exclaims Hondo, as the vertibird begins it's slide. "Everybody get the fuck out!"

Heedless of the danger to himself, Marcus begins dumping all of the unconscious bodies out of the Vertibird.

As Marcus begins hauling the unconscious passengers toward the exit hatch on the ceiling, outside the vertibird in the ruined building Hondo grabs the ass-end of the crippled aircraft with both hands. He sets his feet shoulder-width apart, and with a grunt of exertion he heaves, pulling back and down as he put his considerable body-mass behind it.

As the first batch of civilians climb up and out (including the two children that you've been looking for), the craft creaks ominously. Marcus begins handing the KO'd people up to Frank who has managed to perch on top of the vertibird in a standing position, astride the door. After passing Elsie and the Captian up and out, Frank momentarily loses his balance as the edge of the building shears away, tilting the front end of the aircraft with it.

With thier view pitched down toward street level, Emily and Alice decide that discretion is the better part of valor and quickly climbed aft, heading for the exit. Hondo is joined at the tail section by everyone else who can stand, and they all pile in, grabbing hand-holds and pulling as hard as they can. As the vertibird finally goes over the edge, Alice is the last one out. She runs along the hull of the sliding craft, jumping at the last second and just (and I mean JUST) grabbing the crumbling edge of the building. She slips and falls several feet, grabbing a bundle of inert electrical cables and finally halting her fall.

It seems that you're all looking out of a big, vertibird-shaped hole in the side of building... somewhere. You have no idea where you are. The street outside is shrouded in falling dust that looks more like snow than fragments of buildings, and it sticks to your sweaty skin where it is exposed to the air. After a brief look around you at least manage to find the stairs.

A nearby street sign gives a clue as to where you landed. Little Joey sums it up most succinctly:
"Hoboken? Where the fuck is Hoboken?!" Looks like its gonna be a long walk back...
