Maybe I'm going slightly mad, but I can't find a few posts I made some time ago. Is there an automatic pruning of old topics going on, or did I just miss them?

Do you mean old posts for the new forums? Or the old original forums (which are pretty much gone).

Old posts on these forums. I know the original forum is gone, but I had a fair warning to get what I wanted to save into the Wiki there. Here, stuff just seems to fall off a cliff for no good reason.

Can you provide an example?

For example, I can't seem to find the post where I sketched out my ideas on the "mass combat" dramatic conflict. I'm fairly certain that was here and not on the old boards.

Hm. I'll ask Alex if there's a reason it might be happening. I can't think of one offhand...

Not sure what the issue is here, Gatac...can you provide more details? I can pull up all your posts by clicking on your name to get your profile, then clicking on "Show Last Posts by this person." That has every post you've made in this site as of 5 minutes ago. I haven't noticed my account losing any post count either due to pruning, and checking the settings none are set to "time out."

Yes, there do seem to be 215 posts there...but none of them is the one I'm looking for. I *know* there was a "Yoink!" in that thread, but even that fails to bring it up. It's like the whole thread never existed...and I am fairly certain it was here.
