It could be worse... you could be stuck in a hospital bed.

Routine maintainece or major overhaul?

Actually intestinal bacteria following gall bladder surgery. I currently have 3 tubes draining 4 absesses (2 are connected), stuck on a clear liquid diet, and no definitive date on when I'm getting out. .... Upsides: I have my laptop, there have been some really cool people amongst the nursing staff and doctors, I'm keeping a positive attitude as much as possible, and a copy of FC so I can also follow along with some of the PbP as well..

It is alright. If things had gone downhill quickly, they already would have cut open my abdomen. ... Free wifi at Scottsdale Shea Hospital.

This is why I missed RinCon and will miss NeonCon too. NeonCon will be awesome folks. It is at the Tropicana right on the Strip. Last year, at the Palace Station, on Saturday there was a cart that $1 hot dogs & $1 beers. Bunch of gamers playing drunk was fun to watch.

CUTE N’ CUDDLY
You’re positively adorable.
Prerequisites: Small or smaller size, Cha 13+
Benefit: You gain a dodge bonus against melee and unarmed
attacks equal to your Charisma modifier, and your Appearance
modifier increases by an amount equal to your Size modifier to
Defense (see Fantasy Craft, page 216).

LOL! Nice one.

I keep looking at stuff I want to buy online, and then getting excited by how cheap it is [shopping in the US at the moment is like getting an automatic 40-50% discount] and then being bummed out by the shipping cost.

Oh and I also caved and purchased a copy - my plan was to wait till I'd finished this semesters final exams so I wouldn't be distracted, but failed my Resolve check.

I found a webstore in the UK that doesn't charge shipping. The way the NZ dollar is at the moment, I can get stuff from them and still only pay half what I would locally. Sadly, they don't sell books, otherwise I would be visiting their site a LOT more.
