Seriously though, the site's back-end is tossing up errors when I try to upload the book. I've sent a report to the DTRPG guys and hopefully we'll have it sorted soon. More as I know.

For what it's worth, Wolverine's comment reminded me of your "Maaaaybe." from Friday. I decided you knew about the scheduled downtime and were allowing for the site to be unavailable rather than committing to the date.

I was, but I was also hoping that they'd have it over and done with in short order. As it happens, they did, and I'm uploading the file now. More in a wee bit.

Now watch DTRPG's servers come crashing down as we hit refresh over and over waiting for Pat's upload to complete.

And then again as a few dozen Crafty fans all try purchasing the book at the same time Wink

I bet it must feel pretty nice to have so many people so very eager to buy your book.

I need not mention I've already procured my copy.

And for those (hopefully few of you) who are on the fence about the release, and as a thank you to all those who are purchasing as I type this, check out the first couple paragraphs of the press release... Enjoy!

Crafty Games is proud to release the Adventure Companion PDF for Fantasy Craft. The print release will arrive in stores around the end of the month but we'll have pre-release copies at NeonCon this weekend!

In anticipation of the print release, Crafty Games will be adding new preview material every Monday through November, and the book will also be supported by a series of special third-party products to start releasing on November 8. Mark your calendars!

Every Hero Needs a Good Companion

Frodo had Sam and Conan had Subotai, but neither of them had this ultimate companion. Whether you’re battling demons in the harsh and savage land of Epoch, exploring the mysterious ruins and rivers of Sunchaser, engaged in high stakes fantasy intrigue and espionage in Cloak & Dagger, or just looking for some new ways to shine in any world you visit, consider this invaluable tome your guide to victory.

Find Your Hero’s Path

  • Three fully detailed campaign worlds
  • 12 Base, Expert, and Master Classes
  • Over 150 Specialties, feats, tricks, and Paths
  • A universe of gaming possibilities!

The Adventure Companion is an essential addition to every player and GM’s Fantasy Craft library, offering all the tools, tricks, and talent to face down whatever the opposition throws at you — and come out on top.

Don't Leave Home Without It

PDF: This file is layered so you can turn the page frames, interior art, and maps, off when printing.

BONUS! This PDF contains an extra page of material cut from the print release!

So many Species feats, so little time!

3 Drake 'scales
7 Dwarf Clans
8 Elf Nations
4 Pech Folks
2 Ogre Braves
2 Orc and Goblin Hordes
4 Saurian Clutchs
...and 1 Unborn Construcion feat with 8 options!

*drool*

(It was a little odd having Winter Brave and Elder separate from the main bulk of the Species feats, but I can see the reasoning behind it)

Edit: One question about Custom Construction - can an Unborn use the Special rule to repurchase the same feat and choose a different option? Example: An Unborn named Trojan takes the feat and chooses the Hulking Frame option, then drops his Dexterity by 2 and takes the feat again, this time choosing Hollow Frame.
