GM in Training

Despite the fact that the Adventure Companion's PDF release is right around the corner, for the few of us who've already started reading our advanced copies, I wanted to create a thread for those last-minute corrections: Grammatical Errors, Typos, etc.

First one I've found so far:
Page 77 second to last paragraph: "Adventurers are rare among the elves, and those who set out to chase the sun become quickly become figures of story and
song." Emphasis mine.

I guess that tells you where I've begun reading. Smiley I'll add more as I find them.

Another; page 80, second to last paragraph: "Known for their blue robes, the Magisters are deal with rogue mages..."

Page 81, first paragraph: "...worst of the bunch are those damned the beggar beetles..."

Thanks ArawnNox! You can also send these directly to me. I'll be happy to fold them in before the PDF goes on sale.

These are more errata, but...

Just a passing thing as I'm pouring over the book, Cliff Born on pg 130 gives Water Vehicle Focus and Forte.

Also, as I'm continuing through, I don't know if Desert Crest's Kali's Kiss is lacking the usual "only once per round" clause on purpose or accident.

I believe this is intentional. Alex?

I thought skill forte's weren't a part of the Fantasycraft toolkit?

*Blinks*

I've never noticed that skill fortes were absent from MC.

Oh well. They exist in my game.  Cool

The apparent fix for those without SC 2.0 would be to follow suit after Horse Nation.

LIVING WEAPON

Hammer Hands: You gain the Slam III natural attack, but you
also gain the Beast Type and therefore lack hands or other
fine manipulators and can’t take actions requiring them.
Powerful Legs: You gain the Trample I natural attack but
suffer a –2 penalty with Balance checks.

Is this a error because all the other attacks from this feat give grade 1 attacks.  This would be like with the saurians that had the grade 2 tail attack with natural ferocity?

This was intentional. Taking what is effectively the Beast type just to have a slam attack is a pretty big tradeoff.

What's a skill forte?  (I'm not familiar with Spy Craft)

It does not have once per round because it is limited to the number of uses per combat instead.
