Meh, I'll consider it a good purchase even with the reprint.

On other topics:
I'm assuming the answer's no, but are there any new species feats for Unborn?

There's quite a few, actually.
Custom Construction, a list of tweaks to the Unborn's construction, like a hollow torso or larger/smaller size.
Living Weapon, a list of natural attacks and bonuses for the Unborn (and Rootwalkers) like Strong Legs for a Trample Attack.
Two-Headed, exactly what it sounds like, but is also available for Giants and Ogres.
Wheeled, you has wheels instead of legs!

Whelp. That pretty much settles it. This book is getting bought.

The price is $30 for the print book, right? I guess that would put the PDF somewhere between $20-25?

Any word yet from you guys on what the Emissary class is like? I'm excited about seeing the master classes and I don't even know where to begin with feats but I'm having trouble placing the new base class.

Though I can't guarantee we'll be previewing exactly what you're after, and the previews will be coming throughout the month of November (every Monday, in fact), we will be previewing classes in and amongst.

The fact that you say that fills me with delight already.

Good to know, and will likely help those people who are interested in the book but won't have a finger poised frantically over the buy button for the very instant the book is released on PDF like I will.

For me, I always felt sort of jipped that Crafty would always release the core in dead tree only to release supplements in PDFs.  I'm glad that they are more willing to do print runs of supplements for Fantasy Craft.

Thanks Crafty for catering to those of us who dislike purchasing PDF products!

With 10s and lower for stats at that rate @_@
But would it be worth it?

The sheer amount of options in the books is unbelievable, page for page (hell even book for book) I have seen nothing like it. I find it hard to 'read' PDFs on PC, and crafty PDFs have too many illustrations to be quick on my eReader (come on ship my EXOPC already!), so I can't give a thorough impression. But jumping from page to page as whim (and excitement take) me, I have been flabbergasted with the array of STUFF in there. For those that have the time and inclination to delve and ingest it is a gold mine.

The only thing I have not liked so far is the intros to each campaign setting. The entire description of the fluff is written in the first person, I like the first little bit like that for a it of flavour but it annoys me for it to continue throughout YMMV

So does this mean that the previews will start when the PDF is released? Or is the PDF coming out on Friday following the first preview or something?

In any case a series of previews of a released product just probably won't have that much draw.

Now if the previews started now, especially if you've got something vaguely Halloween themed in the book....
