page 92 of the new AC:
Player characters are "special" right? So we can get the "BLADE-WEAVER" line?
Was just readoing the:
"Bladestorm (Edged Attack Trick): Spend 4 Edge. You may
make a single attack check against any number of characters
within 10 ft. Roll damage for each opponent hit separately."
I'm sure this is right but just checking, Cleave would work off any kills in there, correct? Would you resolve each cleave per kill as you go along or wait until you resolve the trick then apply feats?
(lol what a mess that combo would make)

the real question is, is there anyone within reach after using that trick? Wink
Personally, to head off abuse, I'd probably rule that since Bladestorm is technically only one attack, it only generates one instance of Cleave (Cleave Supremacy not withstanding), and I'd resolve the cleave attacks after the Bladestorm attack.
And yes, players are Special Characters. Smiley

Yhea, the 3rd tier Cleave. The Cleave basics would only be one target. Shoulda specified.

Bladestorm (Edged Attack Trick): Spend 4 Edge. You may make a single attack check against any number of characters within 10 ft. Roll damage for each opponent hit separately.

Emphasis mine.

You're rolling damage a bunch of times, but it still only counts as one attack which would only activate Cleave Supremacy's 5 ft. move the one time.

It's one attack, so I could see the arguement that you only got one cleave and one 5ft step.  That's also probably how I'd rule it, unless the author said the intent was otherwise.

I'd re-read the cleave feats. It looks like the trigger counts attacks-that-kill, not deaths-caused, leading me to think 1 cleave per Deathstorm is probably a fair reading.

Yhea, guess so. Was looking at Mastery allowing it any number of times a round being the chain reaction trigger and the wording in Basics not taking into account you could kill more than one target with a melee,  but if you're going to read it as an extra SA per attack and not per kill, then yhea.
On the plus side, after everyone in a 10' rad has aleady eaten a hit, chances are that Cleave (up to Sup) will be blowing through more than one target!
