Quote
ADVENTURER’S LUCK - You’re every party’s best friend.

Benefit: Each time your party rolls for treasure you may roll
twice, keeping both results. This benefit only applies once per
Treasure roll, no matter how many characters possess this feat.

Does this double all treasure?

Ex.  If a NPC has 1C, 1G and 1T does this feat make it 2C, 2G and 2T or does it just double one treasure type?

I'm reading it as it would only add an additional roll for one of the types.

Ex. 1C, 1G and 1T, could go to 2C, 1G and 1T.  And each time a NPC is defeated or treasure found it can be used again.

I've had a player ask and I don't want to jip them out of treasure if they take this feat.

You roll twice, each time you roll, not one additional time. Thus it's basically 2C, 2G, 2T.

Wow my player is going to be happy about that.  Greedy little Mage.  Cheesy

Thanks Alex.

I ran a table of The Vault recently with an Adventurer's Luckster present, and they spent half an hour rolling treasure.

Yea, luckily for me the mage hadn't considered getting it before I ran The Vault.  Smiley

Add to that it's a Thrifty Heroes Campaign.  Cheesy

That was pretty awesome.

I'm still cooking up the proper Quest for you guys so you can use that scroll of Wish you found, too. Maybe by the end of the year.  Smiley

That's got to be a campaign-specific decision. Theoretically, you can haggle over any transaction. But your GM gets to make the call.

And he has.  Maybe I should let you haggle but give the merchant a real haggle skill?  Cause that's what merchants do for a living.  I'm almost positive you'll end up with less in the end.

I'd... actually forgotten about the Wish scroll.  Thanks for the reminder. Evil

Signature Skill V or VI does nicely for your typical successful merchant. VII or VIII for the really shrewd ones. Or the hard of desperate columns of the sliding DC chart.

And don't forget the Lifestyle and Disposition modifiers. Smiley

And what level is the average merchant again?
