Hi I thought I would share this with the rest of you it is very interesting.  Tt is very insightful about  how the Yakuza operated in Japan during the years that this guy was there.

For twelve years, Jake Adelstein worked as a crime reporter on Japan's biggest-selling newspaper. His patch was Tokyo's seedy red light district, and amongst other stories, he investigated the big bosses of Japan's crime gangs, the Yakuza. This got him into trouble, he received death threats and he and his family fled Japan and now live in exile in the United States. He talks to Carrie Gracie about his life then, and the regrets he still has from that time...

warning as he does cover something that can be quite upsetting like human trafficking nothing too graphic it is BBC after all

Nice find Goodlun! Good stuff on the Yak is always hard to find. I've got a few good books after years of looking at bad ones Smiley Thanks!

I do know that I will take some of that brazen attitude that they have and bring into my 10k campaign for sure.
