Any suggestions for creating an inventor who builds clockwork pets and minions in FC?

My best guess is to make a Keeper/Beastmaster and just allow the player to take 'Construct' as one of the types allowed under the 'Exotic Partner' feature.

This has been discussed before, I think the agreement was that if you wanted to have a bunch of different pets you purchased hirelings with reputation. Also there is a fan created class called the Artificer somewhere on the boards.

You could skip the Beastmaster all together and just take Personal Lt. being that you could apply clockwork right off the bat with one of those.

Followers can be built as constructs, as can Summoned creatures.

Yeah, though is Spellbound's seer works like the spycraft variant, he'll have a construct specific summon spell and will be your guy.

He will indeed have the ability to summon constructs, or have a construct pet. Smiley

A summon construct spell you could build yourself, just taking the XP limit given for the summoning spells already in existence.  At least that's what I noticed when I downloaded the free Spycraft Seer preview and compared the two.

Same - I just changed Summon X to have a construct type requirement.

I also remember a thread about an expert class based around having an automaton companion, I'll try to find it after I get back home.
