Nonsense. His low Charisma score is clearly what caused this catastrophe to occur.

ROFL! Yhea, you'd think.
And a 10 con is good enough, tyvm. Can't plan for everything! Although, starting to think I should have put that 14 WIS into Con instead. Must still be subliminally paranoid of Will saves after that Temple of Elemental Evil run.

ROFL!  Not to mention that Typhon was already shaken because of stress damage.  Then he became fatigued.  Those -2's stack right?   Evil

I'll admit I was a bit stymied when you took the only weapon listed on the NPC, silly mage with expeditious retreat and curse the 20' movement for the NPC in plate!   I thought about giving them another weapon, but beating you with his fists seemed to appeal to me at the time.  I would have beaten the mage if I could have caught him.

Well I got a bow now, so next time I'll just keep moving away and sticking him with arrows!

Well with the module in question, The Master couldn't keep up.  However if we weren't already running long, I would have thrown a dozen or so zombies at them.   Evil

I ran this adventure slightly modified to fit my Midnight Campaign. Lost one party member (devoured), to a messy zombie death, Grave Wurm explosion I saw coming as a problem, and gave them some clues during the fight so they weren't totally caught off guard.
