So I'm thinking..

10KB is Mastercraft. So is FC and Spellcraft. So maybe I can have Vampire Gang Bosses with Orc Thugs and magic duels with dual-pistol weilding spellcasters someday?

Absolutely - for official rules you'll be doing just that in Spring 2011 [April-ish?], but improvisation wise I'm sure some folks [including myself] will be taking a crack at it as soon as Spellbound hits the shelves.

These are all flavors adding to my D-Gate game ... and for those who do like a more modern version of Shadowrun, this will give you the chance.

The crossover potential for Mastercraft and its related lines is gonna be hella fun, I think.

This is, in fact, exactly why we're producing the lines the way we are. They're separate for ease of use, and for the purists, and fully portable (though not necessarily 100% compatible - because that's nigh impossible*) for the kit-bashers. It's lets us focus and experiment. Everyone wins. Smiley

* Don't fret - every effort is being taken to reduce cracks between the games, though there will be some. It's the price we pay for strong adaptations in each genre and/or setting.

Will class be largely portable?

Other theen skills and some column names, I mean.

Largely, though some mechanics won't appear or will appear in different forms in different Mastercraft games, so don't expect 100% compatibility out of the box. We're calling it "portable," which is to say, "the vast majority will be 100% compatible but some material will require some tinkering to bridge."

Vow of Silence is currently slated as a Spycraft supplement. It's still a ways out though, so that could change before we're done.

Thanks for the replies Pat. It's cool that you guys make a conscience effort to talk to us on the boards.
And thanks for chiming in on this. My MC powered Urban Fantasy game ideas will be posted here as soon as I can throw together my rules and group.

(and as a side note, Vow WILL be an instant buy for me. I would throw out the tried "I can't wait" but I'm gonna have to I guess.)
