So, in the inevitable discussions that arise regarding the 40k universe and the 'who will win" scenario, a popular theory is that one day it will just be Orkz and Tyranids fighting over a blighted wasteland of a galaxy (obviously the necrons suck).

I have often heard it said that this is false, that the 'nids will one day consume everything, orkz included. The orkz don't even stand a chance.

To this comes the reply: WE IZ DA ORKZ, WE CAN LOOT ANYTHING

Wargames Factory has a set of 19th Century Steampunk Victoriana minis up for voting on their Liberty & Union area. Please, go and vote for this - the world needs more steampunk minis. Smiley Currently they have less than 20% of the votes they need for production.

Other sets to look at are Female Zombies - forty sprues to go. Why should the males be the only zeds with good cheap plastics?

Bionic Limbs - if they look mechanical enough they might go well with the steampunk, if not Shatterpunk is still on the drawing board, isn't it?

And my own suggestion of Government Agents/Men in Black seems to have stuck at 5%. (Given a choice between my suggestion of MiBs and the Steampunk, I would choose the steampunk. Smiley )

I very much like the idea of the Liberty & Union League. Smiley

Reaper have three models from their Chronoscope line releasing soon that look promising. They are all described as female spies, with different outfits and poses.

Agatha Fox comes in a trenchcoat, with a pistol hidden in her handbag.

Astrid Berger is also in a trenchcoat, but with her pistol drawn and ready.

Natalia is much more dynamic, dressed in tight-fitting gear and looks a bit like Lana from Archer.

Here's a few for people wanting some Samurai goodness: Valiant Miniatures Clan War range, page 2.

I'm pretty sure these are mostly new sculpts, and most of the L5R clans are represented, as well as the Nezumi, Naga, and Shadowlands beasties.

I hate to admit it, but I am tempted to do her up as a villain for my steampunk archaeology game.  Embarrassed

'Bout sums it up. Tongue

She is wearing a body stocking, going by the concept art, but I can't help but suspect that one in three will be doing a bot of, ummm, body alteration in that regard, whether with paint or putty. (I intend to as well, though in the opposite direction - I want her a little more clothed, and ready for combat. A belly plate and a couple of chest protectors may be in order.)

The Auld Grump, one of my players had me paint up her elf stripper miniature for her, in part to see my reaction, I think.  Embarrassed My ex Mountie character had an, ummm, history with her.... I sometimes wonder about my players, she knows that I have run a game at a pagan retreat.

Dear god no.

It's a law of the universe. The likelyhood of seeing a person naked in a nudist camp is inversely proportional to your desire to.
