Oh, and it dawns on Two that these look like Thassilonian ruins, and that the statue might well have been Alaznist, Runelord of Wrath and ruler of the province of Bakrakhan, which used to be where the Varrissian Gulf is now.

Ok, who's following Divia and who's doing something else?

Back toi original matching order and spacing?

The corridor runs for fifty feet and then widens into what appears to have once been a small shrine. To the northeast, steps lead up to a platform of gray stone. Sitting atop the platform is an ancient altar, little more than a jagged block of black marble with a shallow concavity on top of it. This basin is filled with what appears to be filthy water. Tho the southeast are a pair of double doors.

Teo gets Divia's attention. "Should we investigate the altar?"

Divia looks up at the altar and shrugs. "Feel free," she says casually. "Who knows, you might even get lucky and summon up some godless horror for us to fight. Up to you."

Paiter sees nothing out of the ordinary for a 10,000 year old ruin.

Shyla scratches her chin, surprisingly not laughing at Divia's quip.

"This is getting unsettling. There was that horrific monster back there... and that freaky statue... now something resembling an altar... was this place some sort of temple? Who or what was it dedicated to?"

"This is getting unsettling. There was that undead horror back there... and that freaky statue... now something resembling an altar... was this place some sort of temple? Who or what was it dedicated to?"

Point of order... Nothing about it seemed undead.

((Fixing. The my memory of the image didn't match up with how it actually looked))

Teo replies, "Around here, Divia, even the horrors have gods. But I'll do my best not to summon any, Iomedaean or otherwise."

Standing at the botttom step, Teo does a visual search.

Seeing little of note, walk up to the altar for a full search.

If there was anything to find, I missed it. If there was anything to trip, I probably tripped it.
