Haldar and Volo bring up the rear again, Haldar with sword in hand.

Shyla follows along, just behind Divia. She comments back to the other woman, "Yeah, but where would be the fun in that?"

alden falls in his place in line.

Seeing that the floor changes on the right hand tunnel, Teo gets Divia's attention. "Let's turn right."

The tunnel runs thirty-five feet before passing through a breached wall. Past the breach you find a ten by twenty room with mounds of rubble covering the floor. It appears to be mostly pottery, from urn of some kind. (Dracma jokes will be severely punished.) There is a door to the north.

There is no orc. There is no pie.

alden looks at the door, "maybe we should knock?" he whispers.

[Mister Andersen]

Divia shakes her head. "Let's see if there's anything lurking up the other end of the tunnel first. Folks up the back of the line can stay here and keep an eye on the door while the rest of us check."

[Catodon]

The cautious Paiter nods, deliberately interpreting 'middle' as part of 'back'.
"You run ahead if you like Argan, I'll be fine here guarding the rear."

[Golden Dragon]

Teo responds: "If the consensus is come back later, I'll follow. But I'd rather clear this door now."

"yeah i had rather not have something coming at my back for something as simple as we did not take care of this now. can anyone hear anything on the other side?"

[Mister Andersen]

Divia hangs her head for a moment. "Folks up the back of the line can stay here and keep an eye on the door while the rest of us check to see if there's anything lurking up the other end of the tunnel first that might want to come wandering up and bite us in the arse." OOC: Which way does the door open, and is there any sign of its recent use?

[Catodon]

"So just as far as the next intersection then you come back? I just want to be clear."

[paddyfool]

"Go do whatever you feel necessary, Divia; but don't go alone.  I'll keep everything safe here," promises Argan, moving to watch the door. 

OOC: If it opens inwards, ready action: kick it shut.  If outwards: pull it shut.  Reasoning: if someone/thing does try and come through, this should enable us to see them and slow them down enough to coordinate a response of sorts.
