Eloise will keep as close as she can to Argan, though she's feeling battered and bruised enough without pushing her limits to keep up.

New scene, new session.
Although I am posting initiative separately for the two maps in this post, I will be running and updating the scene with a single list. If an entire party has posted their actions I will process their results without waiting for the other party, but I will not move onto the next turn without them. Hopefully this will allow me to stay sane. It takes two rounds to move between maps, unless you’re Weox and can’t cut through the cathedral complex. He’ll need three. A successful Push will shave a round off this.

I will remind you that not every encounter needs to or should be fought.

Die Dog, Die!
Map

(click to show/hide)

In front of the White Deer, a goblin commando mounted on a goblin dog has bravely attacked a noble and his hunting dog. The cowers behind a rain barrel where he calls for help, screaming like a frightened school girl, while his dog fights for it and its master’s lives against the commando. The other goblins throw up a cheer and emerge from hiding as the commando delivers a blow to the dog. The goblins are distracted by the fight, giving you a surprise round.

Teo, the dog is following you.

Divia has carefully snuck into the Bonyard, watching the Goblins steal the coffin, apparently unnoticed. Then the rest of you come clomping in. Well, more accurately Argan comes clomping in, making enough noise to attract the attention of the grave robbers.

They look up and the larger raiders shout at the smaller ones, urging them to move faster.

No surprise, Weox arrives next round. Argan hit the untrained cap, and the bad guys rolled well. Divia remains hidden.

Divia peers over the top of a broad tombstone at the thieves. An eclectic lot, to be sure, and it surprises her that anyone could successfully work with the goblins, what with them all being vicious little bastards with the attention span of a gnat.

Oh, to live in a world where something like this would just be an ordinary perversion rather than a potential threat... she muses whistfully. Oh, to live in a world where I had a longbow and knew how to use it.

Theh she hears the others coming throughthe temple.

"Aw, crap! I should've told them to be quiet," she mutters, pulling herself in behind the gravestone and readying the razor Argan had give her. Hopefully she holds up a hand to her lips, shaking her head, all to indicate that it'd be really nice if the backup Annie has summoned wouldn't give away her position.

Annie, when she sees what Divia is doing smiles and nods and ducks behind one of the columns outside the temple's entrance.

OOC: How often does Divia need to roll to remain hidden?

Argan slows down as he draws closer to the fray, and moves to interpose himself between Divia and the grave robbers after they notice his arrival.  So... not just goblins, and perhaps no ordinary looters either.

"So you attacked the town just to dig up some old bones?  Won't the dead be rolling in their graves enough with such filth as you around?" he calls out at the nearest goblin.

Eloise pales slightly at the creatures arrayed before them, what in Shelyn's name are they doing with that coffin?

Paiter is following Weoxgyld and moves slower than the big guy so he will arrive in the next round too.
Save a couple of bad guys for me.

Die Dog, Die!
Map
(click to show/hide)
(click to show/hide)

The Dog takes a step forward, growing at Goblin 5. Upon seeing the angry dog glaring at it the little monster screams in terror, drops it’s dog slicer and runs north, screaming in terror.

OOC: Suprise round folks, only one action.

The Boneyard
Map
(click to show/hide)
(click to show/hide)

Eloise fails to attract the attention of the bugbear, mounted goblin, or half-elf. Goblin 7 looks at her with fear before the half-elf kicks it, cursing in a language no one recognizes (including the goblins).
(click to show/hide)

Goblin 7 moves forward, and looses an arrow at Eloise, narrowly missing her.
(click to show/hide)

The half-elf looks up at the adventurers with a sneer and drops into an archer’s stance, loosing a flight of arrows at Argan before stepping back towards the breech in the wall. The big man is able to just barely dodge the first two barbed points, but the other three hit his torso, blood spilling from the wounds as pain flares in his mind.
(click to show/hide)

Paiter isn’t here yet.

The Bugbear starts towards the party, a look of perverse anticipation on it’s face. The half-elf shouts at him and he stops, angry looking and roars in frustration before heading towards the breach in the town wall.

OOC: Divia needs to roll every round to stay hidden. We’re gonna pause here so paddyfool can adjust his action to account for his sucking chest wounds.

Argan stands in shock a moment at what he's just experienced, before calling out to the others:

"Retreat!  Back inside, and get out of sight of the doors!"

He then rapidly follows his own advice, before slumping down into a rather larger-than-human unconscious form...

Shyla comes running out of the temple, ready for anything... except what she sees. She skids to a halt when Argan gets filled with arrows.
"By Asmodeus' red ass!" she exclaims in chelaxian. She continues in common, "Everyone! Get back in the temple! Get the... he's an ogre!? Um... get him inside!"
Shyla takes a step forward to put herself between the group and the goblins that break off from the main group, her weapons raised defensively.

Kneeling beside Argan and hurriedly readying various implements from her doctors bag, Eloise shouts "Everybody inside and get those doors closed. I don't know why Argan's an Ogre but I'm not letting him die here after taking these wounds to protect us."
Then more quietly under her breath, "why couldn't I bring proper bandages?"
