Paiter walks up to the goblin next to Weox and cuts it down in a single blow and then turns to Goblin 3, raises his cutlass to point at it and sneers. The goblin flinches slightly, but doesn’t seem to be otherwise affected.
Goblin 10 goes down on the first attack. Converted second attack to a threaten action with a +2 discretionary bonus. Paiter rolled a 23, goblin rolled a 16. Paiter rolled 1 point of damage, and the goblin saved.
Weoxgyld’s javalin misses the Warchanter, spitting up sparks as it’s iron head glances off the cobblestones next to her.
Divia Mal heads into the cathedral. She doesn’t see anyway to the roof at first glance, but there are exits and windows on the other side of the cathedral. If she runs she can get across in one round of free running or two rounds of double moves. I’ll need Athletics with synergy from Acrobatics and a -2 for Annie.
Alden steps towards the nearest goblin (number 11), swinging his longsword. The goblin narrowly dodges, falling to the ground for a moment before scampering back to it’s feat. His return stroke goes wide however.
The little freak rolled a 19 on it’s damage save! The dice robbed you man.
Goblin Warrior 9 looks blissful as it chews the pickle, them suprised as it remeberis it’s in a battle. It screams with it’s mouthful and charges at Shlya, swarming her with Goblin 7. She ignores the first pitiful attack, but the second takes some effort on her part. Not much, but some.
First swarm attack misses, second rolls Natural 20! Shyla takes 1 point of vitality since these guys don’t have treacherous.
Haldar skewers the Goblin ahead of him, the little beats squealing for a moment before dying. The Ulfen berserker then shifts, bringing his spear around to impale goblin 3 which was focusing on Paiter’s theatrics. Haldar feels something, almost like a caress, in the back of his mind, laughing, reveling in the rage in his veins.
The Warchanter steps to the side and strikes with her whip, it’s leather cutting into her skin as it wraps around her left ankle. The goblin grins and pulls Eloise’s feet out from under her, sending her crashing to the ground and dropping her sword. She crows her success as she yanks on the whip again, dragging Eloise next to her. The goblin bitch leers at her and whips her again, muttering some sort of benediction to Lamashtu, and cutting Eloise with her knife leaving the noblewoman unarmed, shaken, and wounded.
The goblin attacks, rolling a 20-2, for a result of 18. She then drags Eloise to the square next to her and gets a trip attempt with the same result of her attack. Eloise rolls a 1 and goes down. She takes 2 stress, for a save DC of 11. She rolls a 16. She then attacks again, at -2, rolling a 12-2 = 10 which hits the sprawled nobelwoman, doing 4 more points of stress. Eloise rolls a 7 on her save and breaks, becoming Shaken. The goblin then rolls the knife attack, rolling a 19-2 for a 17 and doing 4 wounds. The GM has spent a total of six action dice so far, leaving me with six.
On a personal note, someone might wanna help the poor lady
Eloise, to channel one of the best GM’s I’ve ever played with’s way of addressing sproing...
“So, a worshiper of Lamashtu (who has such plans for remaking Shelyn if she gets the chance) has dragged you the ground, whipped you, and is trying to carve Lamashtu’s rune on your abdomen... How does that make you feel?”
Goblin Warrior 10 is dead.
Goblin Warrior 3 is also dead.
Teo moves, tumbling past Goblin 9 to come up behind it, cutting the little freak in two, a brief flash of Iomedae’s light flashing from his sword.
Annie clings to Divia.
OOC: Ok, what is about to happen is only occuring due to the nature of the medium and because, frankly, I think it makes for a moment of awesome when I rolled it out. If Eloise wants to do something else, we’ll retcon.
Eloise summons everything she has, pushing through the tears and pain and fear and twists herself around and slams her heel into the cackling little monster's knee, sending the foul thing to the ground next to her, the goblin screaming in pain as she clutches her knee.
Ok, Eloise repositions, becoming prone rather then sprawled. She then trips the warchanter, rolling a 15. The warchanter rolls a 19. Eloise spends an action die to boost her roll by 6 (4+2) giving her a 21 and sprawling the warchanter.
Argan sidesteps goblin 11 and then moves up and takes advantage of Eloise’s action to attack the warchanter. She desperately twists, avoiding the worst of it, but only just.
Argan takes a five foot step away from Goblin 11 and then moves to the warchanter. He attacks, rolling a 15, and doing full damage (13) with AP 2, ignoring her armor.
Goblin Warrior 11 sidesteps Eloise and jabs his dogslicer at Argan, missing. Argan’s finely honed reflexs let him take advantage of the goblin’s over extension to smack the goblin with the pommel of his sword. The goblin stops dead, standing still for just a moment before it teeters and then falls onto it’s face.
Goblin rolls an 8 and a 6.
Combat Instincts lets Argan riposte, he rolls a total of 12, and then 5 damage. Goblin fails it’s save.
Shlya moves to flank the warchanter, swinging her sword, but missing.
Volokkor runs past Argan and lunges at the warchanter on the ground, missing and bashing his snout into the ground.
Volokkor is stunned for a round.
Goblin Warrior 7 is dead.
