You are correct, Vardeman, the point cost on Hornetor was wrong. So his final total needs to be pared down by 6 points. This can come easiest by reducing his flight speed some, and/or paring back his list of qualities. Which would you like to drop?

Again you are correct, V. I'd claim I did this on purpose to give you practice in checking the math, but then I'd be lying.    Andersen's final Hornetor version is mathematically correct. And after this exercise, I ought to take another look at how I statted Genshior.

i am working on my character today, i am using the clockwork watchman example and adding kaiju onto that. also since i am going a bit silly with this one, i also have to idea of adding bejeweled eyes that amplify some kind of light to create a heat beam.

Here's my Kaiju:

Malochu
A twisted mass of sickly-green bulbous growths and pus-yellow vines, the Malochu feeds more on the living than water and sunlight.  It's two long tentacles are lined with curved thorns, both to pull the towering heap closer to its victims, and to grab a hold of them.  Disturbingly, there is a mouth on this plant-creature; one built to rend prey into flesh and bone.  Several rows of curved, razor-sharp teeth line the surface of its maw.  From inside it's mouth, a sickening stench, both acrid and putrid, wafts up from an unseen reservoir deep within the monster.
