Here's the low-down so far... Studio 2 ships via the cheapest method they've yet found, which is the U.S. Postal Service. Sadly, that rate they gave you is without markup. Sad

We're looking into other options, and as always we're open to suggestions (that don't involve us paying shipping because, as you might imagine, that's not an option for us just now).

Hopefully more soon.

On a related note, do the Crafty team have an ISBN for the second printing yet?

Certainly! It's 978-0-9826843-0-6.

In fact, you can find the ISBNs - and all the other most current data - for all our upcoming books on our Development Page.

And Wolverine wins Gamer of the Day for taking empty luggage to GenCon in order to pack home swag. 'Cuz gamers don't need clean clothes.  Wink
I guess this makes me an alcoholic for taking an empty duffel bag to Puerto Rico for picking up cheap booze.   Undecided   (I regret nothing.)

From Puerto Rico, you say? Nor should you. Wink

I have a distinct recollection of a USPS person telling me that USPS no longer uses ships for transoceanic routes.  It is all by air.

That might indeed be part of the reason for it. I don't remember international shipping being quite that harsh several years ago.

check out this method, not sure how many business would do this, but private individuals might http://www.usps.com/international/mbags.htm

I've used this method about half dozen or so years ago when I sold off a bunch of my 1st and 2nd edition stuff. Some guy in the UK bought a ton of it and we used this method to ship and it was pretty cheap, but it takes forever to get there if I remember right.

I think everyone in my group, except myself, got theirs from a shop.  Unfortunately the owner sold it to some folks who then ditched the roleplaying games, and then closed the store.

It probably helped that I was a massive Crafty cheerleader at our twice-weekly game nights, and often ran Spycraft.

Hey Cat, what part of the Great Southern Land do you hail from? There seem to be more of us popping up here all the time.

No, it makes you a soldier (or marine, sailor, etc). My father apparently smuggled several gallons of rum back from Jamacia for personal use back iin the day (forty to fifty years ago).
I had nothing on the crew of the C-130 we rode down on the first time.  They had a pallet.  Strapped to said pallet was at least eight cases of liquor.
The Tornado F3 could fit a fair bit in the spent links bay, a good case of wine anyway.

At Wolverine, you are the man, sent many messages to you which I think you got. Thanks ever so much Smiley Been incommunicado for a month or so Smiley

At Mr A, they have all of about 3 or 4 gamer shops in NZ (offering generic RPGS), none near to me for sure.
