Quick question:

Does a Drake's breath weapon count as a ranged weapon for the Deadeye expert class?

Thanks!

According to the Drake Species, the breath weapon is a ranged attack. As much as I love the idea, as the Deadeye is written, their abilities are tied to black powder and bow ranged attacks, which the breath weapon is not.

PS - for what it's worth, the Adventure Companion will have a solution to making your Drake scarier in the breath weapon department.... </tease>  Cool

Ah ok - I see now.  Thanks!

And it's "beast" type means no using those weapons, either...le sigh Wink

Although I might be able to convince my GM to allow some sort of black powder siege weapon  Grin

Attach a Mortar or Rocket to the Drake's back. Cheesy That's a "Black Powder" weapon, right?

If by "black powder," you mean "siege" then yes. There's a reason I was very specific about weapons within the text of this class....

I now have the image of a drake chomping a beast-built fire lance like a cigar.

Off topic, but noteable:  69 Species feats.  Crazy.  Awesome.
