It's coming back for a full season. FOX picked up nine more episodes to extend it through winter and spring.

However, it does run interference with "Dollhouse" which was supposed to be the Terminator's mid-season replacement. As of right now, there is no updated winter/spring schedule for FOX so there's no way to determine that (A) Terminator is returning to Monday nights to be the lead-in show for "24". (B) It's getting a new night to follow American Idol — which runs two or three nights a week at some point. (C) One possiblity... Fringe and Terminator could be given their own night together, which won't be Tuesday.

I'll dig out the FOX schedule later (I'm at a hotel in Dallas) to see what could happen.

With FOX you can't really second guess with anything.

There are script and confidence issues in the final product of Dollhouse at the moment so Fox is demanding certain things and Joss is doing his best to comply which is why Terminator got extended as it is more proven than Dollhouse. ... Ok, very long run on sentence.

Why do people never learn? Fox always do this and it always ends up frakking up the shows they do it to and they always get cancelled at the half way point if not before.

It's scary that the only person who ever successfully managed to tell Fox to STFU was Chris Carter when he cast Gillian Anderson
