And if the link goes to the main page for you, too:

Click Wiki -> Mastercraft -> Fantasy Craft -> Origin Creation

(You might want to check the version of the page, too. It might still be listing numbers for the first printing rules.)

Thanks for the Wiki update, BlankBeard.

Here's a Species I'd whipped up for my SC:Traveller campaign. Not strictly a Fantasy Species but I've wanted to convert this baby to Mastercraft for a while so I though I'd have a go:

Sydite
You are a Sydite, a member of a humanoid minor race believed  to have been genetically altered by the Ancients for physical labor. Native to the planet Khuur, your species is often perceived as big strong brutes without imagination.

The Sydites, however, once controlled an extensive interstellar empire. This was destroyed during the Sydymic War, two centuries ago, by the Third Imperium. The Sydites were forced to rebuild their society and technological infrastructure.

Most Sydites are encountered in the Delta Quadrant of Ley sector but small enclaves can be found throughout the Imperium.

Though widely considered to be unimaginative and less intelligent than most humans, they nonetheless make excellent mechanics, technicians, and soldiers.

Physically, Sydites stand 2.5 meters on the average, and weigh in at 130kg. Their most striking feature, though, is that they have an additional pair of useable arms coming out of their shoulders. These arms have roughly equivalent strength each as a normal, muscular human arm; the arms on each side are offset diagonally from each other, with one shoulder slightly lower and behind the other. This provides a maximum range of motion and application of upper-body strength.

Traditionally, Sydites are trained from a young age in the art of swordplay with the Namaar, a ceremonial bastard sword. They take this weapon with them as they journey through life.

Overall, a Sydite can be a firm asset to an adventuring group.

Common Personality Traits: Practical, Surly (with non-Sydites initially), Loyal (when recognised for their talents).

Common Physical Traits: Heavy build, Four Arms, Olive Complexion, Brown or Hazel Eye colour. Hair colors tend to dark brown and black. Some Sydites are bald.

Example Names : Zand, Aldaar.
Splinter Race Feats: None.

Type: Medium Biped Folk with a Reach of 1. Your maximum wounds equal your Constitution score.

•   +2 STR, +2 CON, -2 INT, (3)
•   Bonus Feat: Many-Armed. (3)
•   Enlightened Skill (Crafting) – Your maximum rank increases to your Career Level+5. Only the highest bonus from any enlightened ability may apply to each skill (1).
•   Weapon Proficiency (Edged) – You gain the specified weapon proficiency (0.5)
•   Reviled: Disposition of Non-race reduced by 5 (-1)

Something a bit different  Smiley

Thanks Catodon, I will. Hope the example was useful. If anything, it does show how flexible Mastercraft Species creation is.

I'm also working on an Hawk-like Avian Humanoid species for a Sword and Planet (science fantasy) setting, so when I've thought about it a bit more I'll post it too.  Smiley

(Possible) Error reporting: Bleeding Immunity is listed as -0.5.  Winged Flight 50 ft is said to not be available in the Second Printing.

Fixed, thanks for the help.  Feel free to edit the pages if you're comfortable doing so.  If not, no problem.

Winged Flight 50 ft is said to not be available in the Second Printing.

It's not that it's unavailable, it's that none of the talents use it any more.  Drakes now have Winged Flight 40' which I have pegged as 2.0 points (I think, not looking right now).  There is no reason why you couldn't use it and it probably has the same cost, but it isn't quite as official.  Sorry for the confusion.

I didn't take any of the unused items out because they still may be useful to someone.  When I update the Mass Effect races I did, I still intend to use Iconic Classes of some sort on a couple of them.

Also, we might want to put up a wiki page listing some of the talent items people have come up with.  There have been some real gems and I'd hate to see them all get lost in the shuffle.

Resources pages for custom talents, specialties, and npcs in general (the only activity I see in this area is in primarily non-sentient creatures) would be welcomed wholehearted by me.

I added new pages for origins and NPC's to the wiki under the Fantasy Craft page.  Cunningly, I called them New NPCs and New Origins.  I also made a Fan creations page under Mastercraft for things that are not fantasy craft specific.

Add your own stuff by going to the page you want it listed under, clicking the add child page button, then giving it a title that makes sense and pasting in your material.

Personally, I plan to do so only after it's been in the forum a few days so that any obvious holes have been driven through and hopefully closed.

I was gonna tell you I spent some time copying your Origins work over to a Mastercraft subpage and reorganized/linked a bit. I also went deep into the editor and striped out some weird errant tags. It should look a bit tighter on the screen now Smiley.
